Ron Paul is right on about smaller govenrment and I do believe he would drastically cut useless, bloated govenrment programs. I do however have serious reservations about his stance on foriegn policy. I can't believe his implications that America is responsible for 911 as we are sticking our noses in the business of other countries. Yes, we need to stop being the world's policeman however he went too far. Terrorists are responsible for 911 and that is it. Ron Paul hooked up with Barney Frank to form a committee to cut budget defense ..Nobody with a brain or a heart should ever hook up with a sleeze like Barney Frank.. 11 out of the 14 advisors picked by Ron and Barney are linked with George Soros. What is wrong with Ron Paul??? Once, I liked him alot, but his approach for foriegn policy is out of wack.

"They have to accept Sri Lanka as a state, as a cnortuy. They do not have any choice."I'm sorry, but as an Eelam Tamil, I was always brought up with the motto that when there is a will, there is a way. If your cause is just, there will always be a way. Not having a choice is meaningless to me. I've never countenanced the view that there is no choice. The day you feel that you have no choice against an unjust, unfair situation, you might as well be dead, because you will remain a slave to that situation for the rest of your life. There is no "no choice" in my dictionary."Do you support the view that Kashmir should become separate nation?"Kashmir enjoys federal rights. It is within a federal structure. The tamils have no such rights or structure in Sri-Lanka. The Kashmiris have not gone through what the Eelam Tamils have. Were Kashmiris killed in periodic riots since independence like the tamils were? Were Kashmiris told that their language is not an official language and that they were to speak only one language used for all of India? Were Kashmiris told that their religion had to take second status to one official religion for all of India? Has the Indian Army aerially carpet bombed the Kashmiris? Are hundreds of thousands of Kashmiris imprisoned in camps? If the Kashmiris are oppressed like the Tamils are, yes I will support their independence."I do not support.Same way I do not support Tamils of Lanka to be Independent."Then why did you support Bangladesh becoming independent? How is that different from the tamils in Sri-Lanka?"Don't forget our history how we captured many states with force. Please read carefully Indian history and then talk about Bose."I am well aware of Indian history, thank you very much. I am also aware of the entire history of Bose. I have read almost every authentic publication on him. Don't tell _me_ about Bose."Do not compare wrong way, wrong situations. When Bose took the fight, outsiders ruled the India not insiders"And when the Eelam Tamils fought Sri-Lanka, the Sinhalese Army(outsiders) were occupying Eelam, not insiders. YOU don't tell us Eelam Tamils who are outsiders or insiders, that is for _us_ to decide, _not you_. I fail to see how your "wrong way, wrong situations" comparison holds. The Tamils were a separate kingdom in Sri-Lanka for thousands of years. When the British left India, the muslims took a separate nation: Pakistan. Similarly, the tamils wanted to split too at independence, but unfortunately, the sequence of events that took place did not make it a reality. Who are you to tell us Eelam Tamils that the British were "outsiders" to India, but that the Sinhalese are not "outsiders" to Tamil Eelam?"Today we can compare Sri Lanka civil war with Khalistan or Independence of Kashmir not with the Indian independence war."Why? Why can't we compare it to the Indian independence war? Why can't we even compare it to the Bangladesh Independence war? Why did India support the Pakistan split of Bangladesh? Were Pakistanis "outsiders" to Bangladesh? If you believe so, tell me why you don't see the Sinhalese as outsiders to Tamil Eelam."I will request you please read the history and understand it in a correct manner."I suggest you read proper history first. Don't come up with half-baked rubbish based on your own half-baked views. Come up with facts. You talk about Bose, but I'm sure the most you have ever read about him was probably an Amar Chitra Katha comic."Do come back to read more post and I am sure one day you will understand what I am saying."Oh please. I suggest you first educate yourself on politics and history before posting. I completely understand what you say, and from what you say, I can see that you don't understand anything about the topic at hand.

Not concrete, but the eeivdnce is pretty damning if you look at it all together without bias. Who else would order an assassination of a former KGB agent who is speaking out against and about Putin? Also, consider this, many of the former agents that have worked with Putin and talked have mysteriously died. This isnt America vs Russia, its battle of free speech and government lies. You know just as well as I that RT, just like American broadcasters, is bullshit propaganda.

Not really, cops love their huge saerails and benefits and most importantly they love their powers and special legal protections against taxpayers. You don't become a cop to be a hero these days, you do it to have legal protections, big saerails and benefits. Their union is one of the unions that is very anti-people. It pretty much controls the city politics because they buy politicians easily with our tax dollars. This system is is just as bad if not worse than then wall street.

What do you mean actually the peorsn responsible ? The military has to prove that in a court, just like civilians do.It seems to be pretty obvious he's the peorsn behind the leak, based on the details that I've read in Wired in the past. Don't forget that this Manning guy actively sought someone out and talked about what he had done voluntarily, which is what lead to him being caught in the first place.I have zero sympathy for the guy, peorsnally. He's basically a spy and needs to be treated as such. And it's a credit to Julian Assange's intelligence that he elected not to release details about the CIA and US military special operations in Afghanistan that Manning provided him with. That's probably the only reason Assange hasn't been hauled into prison yet.

The distinction between TV broadcast or linear services (“push content”), on one hand and non-linear or on-demand services (“pull content”), on the other, depends on who decides when a specific programme is transmitted and whether schedules exist.
Who can really claim to have the fmroula for what makes an excellent teacher? There are so many factors, and the term is so nebulous that there is no way to adequately or fairly make this evaluation. It's not about when you arrive at school or how long you stay, which events you attend to support your children, what projects you come up with, or how your students scored on state achievement tests, and it's not about how young your are or how long you've been teaching. It's about whether you are motivating your students to learn. Do you make learning exciting and fun? Do you enjoy what you do, and is that clear to your students? Do you adequately evaluate work performance and provide intervention when needed? Do you promptly and professionally deal with parents? Are you open to change and willing to be an on-going learner? Do you collaborate with your fellow teachers and work with them as a team? Do your state standards and benchmarks guide your teaching? And the list could go on and on.Let's be real. What kind of evaluation process can be created to evaluate teachers in all these areas and more to determine who deserves merit pay? This is why I adamently oppose merit pay. Because really, if you are doing all of the things mentioned above, do you do it in the hopes of earning merit pay or because you are just a good teacher?

Yeah - there's ice cream trucks all over the East Coast. In NYC we cellad 'em "Mr. Softee" and they indeed play the most insipid repetitive jingles (one of them played 'Pop Goes the Weasle') that torture you night and day. And, as in the UK, they circle or just park (although reportedly remaining stationary is newly outlawed in NYC due to too-late-for-me "quality of life legislation.")The trucks in East Flatbush, Brooklyn were also rumoured to be fronts for drug sales.Car alarms and Mr. Softee were seriously the bane of my existence in NYC and frequently caused me to wish I possessed grenades. But I loved the ice cream truck in South Minneapolis that arrived religiously once a day in hot weather and had brightly colored and zanily named ice treats, orange "push ups", and ice cream bars in the shape of Mickey Mouse, at least in the 70s. The most expensive were $1. Almost nobody had AC back then, and the ice cream truck, the inflatable wading pool, garden hose, and the sprinkler were your best summer friends.
